Neptune In Aries

Neptune Moves into Aries: The Return of the Spiritual Warrior

I’ve been thinking about the shifts we’re stepping into, about how transits don’t just mark a passage of time but serve as invitations into new ways of moving and navigating the world.

Yes, the shift may come as external and or internal, but either way, it is here to awaken something within us for this particular season.

On March 30, 2025, Neptune enters Aries for the first time in over 150 years. Shortly after, on May 24, 2025, Saturn follows.

Neptune in Aries stirs the fire of the spiritual warrior—the one who fights for what truly matters. But Saturn in Aries reminds us that sovereignty and self-leadership require effort, discernment, and even strategy.

This isn’t just about what we believe.
This is about our lives aligning with those beliefs.

I keep coming back to the idea that when people meet us, they should experience our beliefs—not just as words but as something lived, something real.

When we click on an icon, it opens into something much greater. Perhaps, in this way, every encounter with us is an entry point into something deeper—something that ripples beyond us.

It makes me think of the scripture where Jesus says, speaking about true vs. false prophets, "You will know them by their fruit."

Well, what is the fruit?

It is the substance. It’s what nourishes others, what is tangible, what extends. It is the expression of the vitality of the tree—a sign of what is truly alive and thriving in that particular being.

And I wonder—what if this is what Neptune in Aries is asking of us?

To ensure that our beliefs are not just spoken, but that they bear fruit in the way we move, act, and express.

Saturn Conjunct Neptune: The Solidification of Vision

For the last couple of years, with both planets in Pisces, it has felt like a time of committing to our inner world, our unconscious patterns, our dreams, and our ability to stay with mystery. Many I know have had to learn what it truly means to surrender (although with the North Node in Pisces this is still not over).

Saturn in Pisces asked us to take seriously the formless—the dreams, the spiritual work, the unseen, the parts of us that had not fully taken shape or had been suppressed. It was a time of tending to what had been buried, and making space for the grief that comes with it all.

But now, as both planets move into Aries, the focus shifts.

Where Saturn in Pisces asked us to commit to our inner world, Saturn in Aries asks us to commit to our individuality, our sovereignty, and the seriousness of our desires—our instincts.

Neptune in Pisces invited us to dream, to surrender, to imagine new possibilities. But Neptune in Aries?

It doesn’t just dream. It acts.

It calls us toward ideals that demand initiative and risk-taking.

This isn’t just about the dreams we have.
It’s about our courage to act on them.

And it makes me wonder—who do we need to be in order to bring these dreams forward?

Maybe this is a time when visions will not wait anymore, when we are asked to give form to those dreams that call us - to be who we are meant to be.

We are in the early stages of this shift now, but Saturn and Neptune won’t reach their exact conjunction until February 20, 2026. This influence extends from January 2025 to August 2026, meaning we are stepping into a two-year window of potent change—one that will test our ability to ground our highest visions into reality.

This makes me think of Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert, where she writes:

"Ideas are alive, that ideas do seek the most available human collaborator, that ideas do have a conscious will, that ideas do move from soul to soul, that ideas will always try to seek the swiftest and most efficient conduit to the earth, just as lightning does."

It makes me think of—how inspiration doesn’t just belong to us. If we don’t act on it, it will find someone who will.

And perhaps this is what Neptune and Saturn moving into Aries are asking of us—to take seriously our instincts, our ideas, our ideals. To have the conviction, to pioneer them and not let these inspirations leave us.

Reflections on the Last Time Neptune Was in Aries

Neptune entered Aries in April 1861, at a time of global upheaval. That very same month, the U.S. Civil War began—a war fought over sovereignty, identity, and freedom. Across the world, nations were redefining themselves, revolutions were taking shape, and boundaries were being redrawn.

Whenever Neptune moves into Aries, it seems to awaken bold vision and a desire to fight for what truly matters.

And now, here we are at another threshold.

This time, Saturn is joining, and I keep wondering—maybe Saturn’s presence is what gives us the weight and the maturity to consider which ideals are truly sustainable.

Aries can be impulsive, but Saturn helps us discern which ideals are rooted in something true and which ones are merely an escape.

Because sovereignty and individuation are not just about freedom—they are about integrity and the deepest spiritual work.

A time of creative expansion and refinement. Neptune fuels artistic inspiration, romance, and deep emotional expression, while Saturn ensures that creativity and play is taken seriously and grounded into something meaningful.

Aquarius Rising (3rd House)

A time of deep reflection on communication, learning, and perception. Neptune may inspire a poetic, intuitive way of expressing yourself, while Saturn encourages clarity, structure, and accountability in your words and studies.

Pisces Rising (2nd House)

A shift in values, resources, and self-worth. Neptune may bring a spiritual lens to material possessions, while Saturn calls for maturity in financial decisions and self-trust in what you are building, with both inner and outer resources.

Aries Rising (1st House)

A time of potential transformation around identity, self-perception, and personal mission. There may be an invitation to step into spiritual leadership and bold self-reinvention. With Saturn here, there is also a call to take the self and body seriously, to refine the way one presents oneself, and to claim one's autonomy with clarity.

The Birth of a New Era

Perhaps Neptune in Aries, with the guidance of Saturn, will bring a shift in our understanding of ourselves—who we are and how much more we can be. Neptune dissolves boundaries, revealing new dimensions of identity, while Saturn grounds that revelation in something tangible, something of substance.

This transit may invite us to step into the gift and responsibility of sovereignty, to embrace the seriousness of self-leadership, and to claim what is ours to create and embody.

Maybe this will be the revolution we need, one that calls us to individually embody spirit in a way that we begun to surrender to during Neptune and Saturn’s journey through Pisces.

Some reflections to explore during this time:

  • Neptune in Aries: What are you here to pioneer? What does your soul know? How can you fan the flames of courage needed now?

  • Saturn’s Role: What aspects of your autonomy and self-leadership are calling for greater responsibility? What steps can you take to bring structure to your dreams and ideals?

  • Sovereignty & Self-Realization: How do you define personal sovereignty? In what ways have you been giving your power away, and how can you reclaim it?

  • Spiritual Embodiment: Where have you been seeking external guidance, and how might you step into deeper trust of your own wisdom?

  • Action & Alignment: What actions feel aligned with your deepest truth? Are you moving with clarity and purpose, or is there something asking to be re-evaluated?

I don’t have all the answers. I don’t believe anyone does.

But we can feel the shift brewing.

I believe truth—like beauty—is not something contained in words, but something experienced and felt.

And what astrology offers us is an awareness of the potentials—the archetypes or energies that are wanting to interact with the world and with us, both individually and collectively, to bring in whatever changes humanity needs at this point in the journey.

I think this is a time to be intentional—to engage with these parts of ourselves. To reflect on Neptune, the dreamer, the ideals that guide us—but to also be mindful of Aries, the warrior, the pioneer, the eternal child, the sovereign one.

Look to your chart.

Where is Aries being awakened in you? Where is this call to act, to embody, to claim, to forge unfolding in your life?

And how is it interacting with the rest of your story?

If you want to dive deeper into what this means for you, to truly consider what is taking place in your specific chart, lets chat.

Lastly, may we remember we are always in conversation with these forces and their cycles.
And the way we engage with them shapes the way they move through and for us.

How will we meet them?

With you,

MEL
